The Radio Bureau's Sales Team Structure


The Radio Bureau Sales Team is organised into working groups, which we call ‘Pods’.

These Pods operate as close-knit teams, all working together to deliver exceptional radio results for their particular group of clients. 

Each Pod is made up of four people; two Account Directors, one Planner and one Sales Co-ordinator.


 

 

 

Account Directors

Each Account Director is responsible for a portfolio of advertising agencies, and thus the clients that each agency represents.

Account Directors are the sales force that drives TRB’s continued success, delivering exceptional client service whilst also continually working on developing new business from their respective agencies. Account Directors are the public ‘face’ of TRB. Active within both agencies and the broader radio industry, Account Directors ensure that people are aware of the myriad of ways in which Radio advertising can be used to grow their business.

Planners

Planners are integral to each Pod’s operation. They work closely with Account Directors to create optimal media schedules for TRB's clients, using various data sources to construct the most effective radio schedule for each campaign. Planners are also heavily involved in the research and analysis that is used by Account Directors to secure and grow client activity, whether that entails writing campaign rationales or generating new business opportunities.

Sales Co-ordinators

Sales Co-ordinators are the driving force who ensure that TRB’s campaigns and promotions run smoothly, in order to provide our clients with the best possible results. Sales Co-ordinators liaise with their Account Directors, agencies and radio stations to ensure that campaigns go to air correctly and that promotions are executed as planned. Sales Co-ordinators develop close relationships with a range of different people, from agency media directors to radio station schedulers and promotions staff, all of which are invaluable in providing the sales support required of this role.

Working as a team

Although distinct from each other, the roles which make up each Pod are work together seamlessy to ensure world class customer service is delivered to each and every one of TRB’s valued clients. Every Pod member becomes fully immersed in working with their Pod's portfolio of clients. Their combined efforts create exceptional results, which is why our clients continue to enjoy all the benefits of Radio Advertising.
